Soňa took over from Jarmila Horčáková, who took the position of Talent Manager at Euro RSCG. She is an excellent example of the talent available to employers who are prepared to create a flexible working arrangement for women returning from maternity leave. Previously Soňa worked for Tesco in the position of Office Manager for Tesco's Central European IT department. Having used her previous experience to get the office function here working at optimum level (and therefore relieving me of all the jobs I hate) she is now rapidly learning the new skills of interview and assessment, and she will play an ever bigger role in our projects during 2010.
Soňa manages to do all this while also looking after the needs of her two young children. Sometimes therefore she may be at home, so our office phone may go unanswered, but please leave a message as she is constantly monitoring both voicemail and e-mail while she is away from the office.
