	Kavala restaurant Family owned Greek restaurant near our office.
	Professor Karel Lewit 94 years old and still fixing people without cutting them up. An inspiring human being.
	Malostranská beseda Sensitive reconstruction. PU from the tank, at lower price than elsewhere. It's part of the attempt to retain the soul of the old Beseda. The club upstairs looks much the same, just a better bar and no holes in the floor.
	Mirellie Dejvice Yugoslav restaurant, deservedly popular, great value lunch menus.
	Pilsner Urquell Still brewed without cheating. From the tank, it's unbeatable.
	Radio 1 Unique Czech phenomenon, even if half the music sounds like the noise of Uralska street being dug up again.
	Raiffeisen Bank Generally they have good products, especially the multi-currency eKonto, and make few mistakes.
	Robertson (English Butcher) Fantastic Angus steaks, sausages and bacon to English recipes, all from local Czech sources.
	SC Pendolino You drive there on the D1; I’ll have a draught Gambrinus, and a snooze...
	Schwandorf Nice Bavarian town, 2 hours drive from Dejvice. Go there to save 20% in Globus or DIY stores.
	Sigur Ros Mesmeric, mind-blowing Icelandic rock band.
	Toyota RAV4 My fairly green SUV. Mainly because it doesnt go anywhere. But when it does, its totally faultless. I'm waiting for the hybrid version.
